With all the Viva Glam Nicki Minaj swatches out there I thought it would be fun to mix it up a tad. I wanted to swatch the Nicki for you guys so bad, but I feel like it's a little repetitive at this point. So I wanted to share with you beauties and a mix I came up with. I absolutely adore the Viva Glam but some days I like to tone it down a bit and I found the perfect lipstick to help! The YSL Rouge Volupte #2 Sensual Silk goes so well over the Nicki. I know I have those days where the Viva Glam Nicki is just too bold, but you cannot just steer away from that gorgeous color! Here are some swatches below!
The right picture is just the Viva Glam Nicki. The one on the top left is with one coat of YSL, and the bottom left is with two coats. So you can see it tones down that boldness but still leaving the yellow-ish pink standing out. I love this mix so much!
Here are the swatches on my skin too.
Do you have any creations you come up with??

Hey Beauties! Want to enjoy some great cocktails? Hair cocktails that is! I'm going to show you a few mixtures of products that I use for different looks.
First I am going to list all Paul Mitchell products, this is where I attended Cosmetology school so this is what I know best!
First one is a mixture of Skinny Serum and Quick Slip. While the Super Skinny smooths, hydrates, and reduces frizz, the Quick Slip reduces drying time and gives flexible hold. One pump of each will work for medium length hair and apply to damp hair. I like to rub it all over my hands like I'm applying lotion, so when I put it throughout my hair I'm not applying it into one area.
This is going to give you a straight, sleek, and smooth look!
Note: The Quick Slip might appear to get a little chunky once mixed, however, once you start drying those will go away!
Next one is Round Trip and Slick Works. The Slick Works will help define your curls and give them a little more texture. The Round Trip also defines your curls and gives a flexible hold without leaving hair stiff or crunchy. I use two pumps of Round Trip to one of Slick Works. Mix throughout damp hair and scrunch hair to give curls and texture.
This is going to give you bouncy flexible curls. The products are weightless and will not weigh down your curls!
Note: I use this cocktail on my somewhat naturally wavy and curly clients.
To add extra hold for this weightless curly look add sprays of Hold Me Tight securing your look with flexible locking hold.

65$ later this is what I accomplished in CVS today! I initially wanted a new foundation and ended up with all this! I got the much talked about Revlon PhotoReady and the powder. I'm excited to try this, I see this in tons of beauty gurus blogs and videos, so we will see! I also wanted to try the Maybeline age rewind and while I was there noticed that if you buy 30$ worth of Maybeline you get 10$ back! Sold! So I got more of the tattoos and a finishing powder. Oh and another bouncy blush. I know I said I wasn't impressed last time but I decided to give it another try. All the Revlon was buy one get 50% off so I also got the lip butters, which I have yet to try! I freaking love them omg! I hear a lot of mixed reviews on them but I love the colors I got so far! Stay tuned next week I'll do a FOTD with the color tattoos and swatch the lip Butters!!

Hey Beauties! I have another Flat Iron review for you from FlatIronExperts.com. I actually had been sent another one because my Avanti stopped working after like 3 days. So Flat Iron Experts was kind enough to swap out my Flat Iron and I got their most popular iron called the KQC. This is another flat iron that has blown me away. I have never heard of this brand before and I'm a hairstylist!! So I was really excited when I got it. Even though I have thick long hair, the thinner plated irons work so much better for me and this one is a 1inch tourmaline and ceramic plate. This flat iron took literally 25 seconds to fully heat to 410 degrees, that's what I'm looking for when I buy a flat iron!! I didn't even section my hair again and I really just did a quick job and it turned out better!! It definitely helps with the frizz and smooths really well, I have a lot of course frizzy hair around my hairline so I'm sold! Overall I give this flat iron 5 stars! ( Ps I am going to start rating my reviews) The visual part as well as the performance definitely makes it an A+!
Here are some before and after photos of my hair. Please excuse my messy bathroom and my self shot of the back of my hair!! I have been using my Iphone for pictures lately! Look at how shiny my hair is in this one below OOOHHHH!!!
*I received this Flat Iron for free in exchange for my honest opinions. These opinions are 100% true and mine*
Stay tuned Next week for my Review on the Big Barrel Baby Bliss Curling Iron!

Ok so I thought It might be fun to do like a tutorial kind of. As a hairstylist one of the MOST asked questions is.. "How do I cut my own side swept bangs?" There are so many different ways to do it, and I'm sure other hairstylists will have a different method. But below is the way I do it. I hope it is easy for you guys to understand. Maybe I should do a video too? What do you think??
This is my doll (she has no name lol)! Please excuse her hair. Doll hair has a very weird hairline and her bangs were not cooperating.
First which ever way you part your bangs (Fringe) you want to to cut the opposite direction. So you can see in these pictures her swoop is to the right.
Second you want to take small sections diagonally and pull them to the opposite side
keeping your fingers and scissors at a 45 degree angle as shown in the picture.
Third make your cut straight across using your fingers and a guide.
Keep repeating taking small diagonal sections, using the previous cut hair as your guideline!

Hey lovleys! So I recently posted an open box post and these were some of the things I received. I received four nail polishes from Bootiebabe. They are a fairly new company and only have about 12 colors but they come is such a cute bottles who wouldn't want to get their hands on these?? They are a cruelty free company and do not use harsh chemicals such as formaldehyde. They go on very thick and are not streaky at all. They also dry super quickly and they kind of leave a matte finish, so you may want to put on a coat or two. But overall I really like these polishes and they are only 4$ each! They also have the cutest promos on YouTube you can check out HERE. All their colors are very bold vibrant colors! Whether its their baby pink or baby blue they are still very bold!
The very last picture is my Valentines nails!!! <3 I used the Bootiebabe in "Brink of pink" and then I used OPI "Pink Friday" for the polka dots, then OPI "Devine Swine" over the rest of the nails!
Colors in order
** I received the BootieBabe polishes for free. These opinions are 100% true and mine**
