Too Faced: Summer Eye Palette Review & Swatches

One of the exciting things about summer is all these gorgeous colors that start to make their way into our makeup bags! I was so happy and excited about this collection it definitely lives up to its theme. With the Summer Royalty collection debuting this month I will have plenty of exciting reviews coming up for you.

Toady I am reviewing the Summer Eye Summertime Sexy Shadow palette which is limited edition so don't wait too long to buy this! I almost want to buy another one with how much I am in love with these colors!! You can buy online at TooFaced or Your local Sephora and Ulta. This palette retails for $36.

The colors in this palette are:

These colors are hard to see see on my original swatch since I am so pale. So I hope you can see them good enough of my fingers.

Cocoa Beach Plum Brown Shimmer
Chocolate Sun Shimmery Rich Brown
Toasted Coconut Matte Caramel

So far Sugar Sand, Plumeria, and Coral Crush are my favorites. I don't have any colors like Coral Crush at all and I'm dying to play with it this summer. I love Sugar Sand as a highlighter it is very sheer. Plumeria is such a great pink, I don't have many pinks either and I like the shimmer in it.

I am really looking forward to playing with Mermaid, I love teals and greens and "muted" is the perfect word to describe it, its not too bold and would look great in a smokey eye look. I'm not a huge fan of glitter, although I don't have any glitter browns so I am excited to play with these also. And I like that you have a light glittery brown and a dark one. Toasted Coconut is an awesome light matte brown, when I swatched it on my arm it looked like it has a tad of shimmer in it which I like.

Here is a closer look of the palette

Aren't these gorgeous? I hope to do some FOTD for you guys with this palette. It came with some look cards you can test out which is great for some ideas. Overall I am really pleased with this palette, I like every color in it and it's perfect for summer, did I say that already? Corals and pinks are in this year and there are lots of different looks you can create with this.
Let me know if you plan to get this palette or what you think of it already!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12- Hour Blush Swatches & Review

I was so excited to buy this blush and now it is finally in my hands. Of course I wore it for two days so I could properly review it for you! They aren't messing around when they say lasts for 12 hours. I put it on at 8am and it was still very bright at 8pm. I actually had it on till 12am!

Here is what they say: Infused with natural clay harvested from the banks of the Amazon River and naturally baked by the sun, this nutrient-rich blush benefits all skin types for a fade-free flawless finish for an amazing 12 hours. Inspired by Tarte's bestselling shades of cheek stains and lip tints, the colors range from soft to vivid to suit a wide variety of skintones. For oily skin types, Amazonian clay minimizes oil in and around pores to balance skin and keep product in place. Those with dry skin will benefit from the clay's nourishing and hydrating properties, which naturally restore skin's moisture.

Left Blended/ Middle light Swatch/ Right heavy swatch

Overall I really like this blush, it is very pigmented and a little definitely goes a long way. I like that it is good for oily and dry skin types, I happen to be a mixture and I find that it goes on even and stays on great. Another thing I like is that one of its ingredients is Beeswax, this will naturally stimulate collagen which gets rid of fine lines and wrinkles!

I will do an update also in a couple weeks, my known spot for breakouts is my cheeks, so I am always switching up my blushes. So we will see how this helps my acne on my cheeks.

If you have been seeing reviews for this and debating on whether or not to get it, I highly recommend it!

You can get the Amazonian Clay HERE and retails for $25
Or visit or Sephora. also has FREE Shipping over $40!

Perfect BB Cream SPF40/PA+++ Review & Swatches

With all the BB Creams out there you have so many different options and brands. I really like the BB Creams, I am using them more and more each day. This particular BB Cream is the 3LAB Perfect BB Cream with an SPF of 40.

Here is what 3LAB says: Infused with 3LAB’s signature bio-engineered growth hormone and apple stem cell technology, PERFECT BB SPF 40 is a sheer tinted moisturizer designed to firm and lift the skin, regenerate new skin cells, brighten, moisturize, and protect. conveniently in three shades to match your skin tone.

Features & Benefits: Protects the skin from harmful UV rays and oxidative stress
Soothes and calms irritated skin
Regenerates cells through the use of Phytocell Tec and Nano Clair GY
Minimizes the appearance of skin discoloration evening out skin tone
Moisturizes and hydrates the skin with a lite feel
Provides great coverage for age spots and blemishes

My thoughts:

Goes on flawless and even
Light feel and moisturizing
Perfect at hiding pores (at least for me anyway)
Has more of a matte finish than creamy
Has a pump which I really like ( keeps unused product clean)
A little goes a long way
Great fragrance

One thing I will say is that my skin is a little dry and I find that since this has a more matte finish (at least on my skin), I need to put on a bit of moisturizer first. Otherwise I like the matte finish a lot. This also came with a roller applicator, I used it once but I like using my fingers to apply better. I have been using this for a little more than a week. I can definitely notice more moisture in my skin. I have combination skin but my forehead is super dry. I always have trouble with foundations looking cakey, and even with this BB Cream being more matte my forehead stays really moisturized all day.

You can see in the swatch below a little goes a long way! Just that one dab covered the entire back of my hand. I barely have to put any on. And the coverage is amazing. This is almost feels like a foundation for me but still really light coverage, but just enough to hide any blemishes and spots. I will also do an update in a couple weeks and show you some pictures on my face too.

Left swatch Right Blended

Overall I am really impressed with this BB Cream. This isn't your normal $10 BB Cream, as it states in the features and benefits it has so many more reasons why this is worth the money. I for one would probably buy this again. I would definitely stretch out  the life of it and make it last longer. But the rate I am going It might be gone soon!
This BB Cream is $95 and you can find at Nordstroms, Barneys, and 3LAB

China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitters: Ray-Diant Swatches

Here is another swatch and review from the China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitters in Ray-Diant. I really love this collection so far I am a sucker for glitter and this is right up my alley.

Here are the swatches the left one is without flash and the right is with flash. (3 coats) In the bottle it looks more silver but on your nails it looks a tad more gold. I really like the colorful specks of glitter! Like I said in my previous review about these, they are very gritty feeling. So if you don't like that these may not be for you, or you can simply get a great top coat and start layering. That's what I do.

What do you guys think of Ray-Diant?

Hard Candy Haul and Swatches

I have been wanting to try more Hard Candy products, and I finally got a handful of stuff to share. I love Hard Candy Eye shadows and Pencils, their colors are so fun. I was at Walmart a week or so ago and picked up a couple of their new products as well as some others.

Maui Glow Away: Love this,  I really like the shimmer. I am a sucker for bronzers and highlighters and this has a great color duo.

Eye'm Tired: This is one of their new products and it was only 5$, so I had to try it. This one actually shocked me, although I haven't been using it that long to see if the serum is actually working but it feels great. It claims to brighten, de-puff, firm, and massage away your unwanted bags with its tri roller ball. I think it works in the first use. Like I said I don't know if the serum is helping, but it definitely is cooling and massages my bags almost away.

Pillow Talk Hide and Glow Cheek: I really like this a lot. I love cheek stains and creme blushes so this was right up my alley. I love the duo colors also. The color payoff is great.

Undercover Agent Duo Highlighter Concealer: I haven't had a chance to use this yet but I like the coverage on the swatch. And also when you screw off the top the brightener is in the tube underneath. Not something you see a lot but for sure different. I may have to do a separate review for you on this.

Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer: This I love! I have been using this when I have really bad dark circles under my eyes or if I am going out. It definitely is a heavy concealer and not cakey either. Perfect coverage.

Concealer Pencil: I like the idea of a little pencil, I can attack any little tiny areas that have spots or blemishes.

Do you guys have any Hard Candy products? What do you think?
