Lalicious Sugar Kiss Body Scrub and Body Butter Review

I was given the opportunity to try an amazing brand called Lalicious. Lalicious is all natural line carrying, body butters, scrubs, oils and soaps. There are a lot of skincare brands to choose from these days, but I assure you this brand stands out among the rest!

The scrub is simply amazing, while it has fine sugar as the base, it isn't to harsh on your skin. This scrub does leave a residue which some might not like, however, I rub it in with a towel and it isn't so bad after. I don't mind that residue feeling, this is more of a really moisturized feeling than a film left on your skin. This scrub leaves my skin smooth and moisturized all day, I almost don't want to put the body butter on after but I do because the smell is AMAZING!

What they say:
Sugar Kiss Body Scrub
"An amazing combination of Vanilla, Citrus and Rose. This is a highly moisturizing body exfoliator. Before you get out of the shower, scrub all over your body and rinse with warm water. Pat yourself dry and this deliciously sweet scent will layer nicely with your favorite perfume"

What they say
"Paraben Free! This beautiful combination of Vanilla, Citrus and Rose is enriched with Shea Butter which seals in moisture keeping your skin soft throughout the day. Scoop out with your fingers and smooth all over skin. Use as often as desired for an intense hydrating effect" "

The body butter is just as great as the scrub leaving your skin so moisturized and creamy.  I don't need to apply it more than once. This body butter is very thick so a little goes a long way.

I definitely recommend these two products if you are looking for something with heavy, cream, and moisturizing! And if I haven't already said the smell is amazing IT IS! I love candy and vanilla smells.

Lush Cosmetics: Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask Review

By now you all know how much I love Lush, it's no surprise they have some great quality face products. One of the products I love are the Fresh Face Masks, which can only be sold in stores. These have a shelf life usually of 3 weeks.

From the Lush website:

"Prevent disasters by taking regular care with our deep cleaning blueberry mask, Catastrophe Cosmetic. The little blue bulbs are packed with vitamins, with a gentle calamine base to cleanse the skin without stripping it of its natural oils. Use this one weekly as a deep cleansing treatment to kick off your regular skin care routine."

I have been  using this mask for 3 weeks now. A little goes a long way for this mask, so I actually use it about twice a week. It can also be used as a deep cleansing mask as well. The smell is very delightful and not to harsh or overpowering. This is more of a clay consistency so it does dry and harden on the face. This gentle mask is suitable for all skin types and is their best selling mask. After 3-4 weeks I have noticed a brighter and more even toned face. Little to no break outs while using this!

The chunks are blueberries.

Marc Anthony: Dry Winter Hair Solved

Fear not winter goddesses; Marc Anthony shares his dry hair solutions for a long winter at its beautified best, plus a Q&A on some common but seldom addressed winter style issues.

Dry Hair and Scalp

Winter’s lack of moisture can cause a dry, flaky scalp and as your scalp dries out so does your hair. The air around you (inside and out) also lacks moisture and as a result sucks it out of anywhere it can find it, including your hair. Hair becomes flatter and also begins to lack shine.

·         Know your flakes: Be mindful of a dry scalp vs. dandruff. Dry scalp is caused by dehydration, dry heat and poor products stripping the hair, resulting in white flakes. Dandruff is actually a fungal or bacterial infection of the scalp. The flakes or skin cell clusters are large at times, greasy or waxy and are yellow or gray in colour. Anti-fungal shampoos can be horribly drying to those who don’t actually have dandruff.

·         A winter cut: If you live in an exceptionally dry climate during the winter, speak to your stylist about tweaking your haircut as the lack of moisture makes your hair sit differently than it does in the more moist summer months.

·         Wash less:  Dare we say this? Shampoo less to keep your natural oils where they need to be. If you need a bit of a boost try a dry shampoo to trap excess oil and add a bit of body without drying your hair out.
Recommended: 2nd Day Clear Dry Shampoo.

Sans sulfate: Since sulfate free shampoos are less drying and less irritating they are much better at all times, but more so when the weather is dry. They are also good for those sensitive to allergies or eczema.
Recommended: Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Shampoo - Sulfate Free.

·         Moisture rich conditioner: Use a conditioner that not only conditions but adds moisture to help keep hair supple. Recommended: Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Conditioner.

·

Hydrate your style:  Hydrate as you style to give hair lasting moisture. Look for styling products with hydration properties. For both straight or curly styles we recommend bye.bye.Frizz Keratin Smoothing Blow Dry Cream.

Blogmas Day 11 Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes Collection Review and Swatches

"Cult favorite Aqua Eyes pencils are a holiday must-have for creating long-lasting expertly lined eyes. This limited edition smudge-proof eye line collection includes two full size and four travel sized Aqua Eyes in flawlessly festive shades".

Colors include:
Mat Black (Full)
Pearly Brown (Full)
Metallic Grey (Travel)
Black Purple (Travel)
Turquoise (Travel)
Champagne (Travel)

I really like the formula on these. I have tried one of these before this set and they are pretty creamy and long-lasting. The longevity of them are amazing, even my swatches wont rub off all the way. Trying more colors,  I am set on these being the best pencil eyeliners I own. These really don't budge, even the black! I always have a little smudging with pencil eyeliners these are great.

What's great about this kit is the colors are all very usable. Most sets have those bright colors that you wouldn't typically use everyday. These have a great set of neutrals and one fun color!  Plus two full sized eyeliners AND in brown and black, those pretty much pay for the kit by them selves!

I would highly recommend this kit for a gift or for someone who enjoys a lot of variety!

Colors swatched fom left to right are:
Black Purple (Travel)
Champagne (Travel)
Turquoise (Travel)
Metallic Grey (Travel)
Mat Black (Full)
Pearly Brown (Full)

$36 available at Sephora.com and at Sephora stores.

* The products mentioned in this post were sent to me for consideration. All opinions are my own and 100% true. I never recommend anything that I don't use or like myself.*

I apologize this is defiantly not my best nail work, in fact I'm pretty picky lately  But I had a sparkly polish on before and my nails were being stubborn! Also you can see Electra on my ring finger, I wanted it a little blurry so you can see how gorgeous it is!

Blogmas Day 3: November Favorites 2012

I have been seriously lacking doing my favorites every month! It's so fun to see other blogs favorites. So from now on You can expect mine!!

I apologize now for the extreme Lush products, but I haven't really had any favorite makeup products. This month it was all about skincare.

Haircare:

Pureology Color Stylist Root lift: This has been my savior thins month, my hair is so long and that it normally wears down my tease. So using this product before drying really helps keep that volume locked in.

Nails:
Zoya Aurora and Zoya Electra

Skincare:
3lab the serum: I have noticed a major improvement in the last 4 weeks using this. My skin tone has really brightened up and really locked in the moisture in my face.
Lush Mint Juleps: a great lip sugar scrub, I use it every night and morning for the most amazing soft lips!

Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic Fresh Face Mask: I use this once a week as a deep cleansing mask. Brightens my face up,and packed with vitamins for a healthy face.
Lush Wiccy Magic Muscles  I originally got this for hubby, it's like an icy hot bar. The smell can be a little overpowering but once its on it's not that strong. Very soothing for achy muscles.

Lush Ocean Salt: This is a body and face scrub. Although I find it a little harsh for my face, it's amazing on my body. I love using this on my legs before I shave! This leaves my skin unbelievably smooth!

Makeup:
Japonesque Brow Kit: I am usually inseparable from my Too Faced brow kit, but this little mini kit is perfect and great on the go.
And lastly my bow ring from Forever 21. It was a birthday gift from my bestie and it goes with everything and I love it!
